Ajrakh is a block-printed cloth which is union of handloom textiles and vegetable dyes. It’s one of the oldest techniques of resist printing in India. There are almost 14 to 16 different stages of dyeing and printing the fabric, which takes almost 14 to 21 days to finish the process.
These traditional printing techniques in India are sustained by the craftsman of Kutch, Khavda, Dhamadka and Barmer.
